Come see the final night of SCP Presents with an artist talk to begin at 7pm.
CLASS: FILM SCANNING 101
Learn to scan film negatives and slides with Joshua Yates. We will cover dust removal and negative preparation, Digital Image Correction and Enhancement, scanner settings, the negative reversal process, and some Adobe Lightroom editing basics. There will be discussion on dedicated film scanners vs "DSLR Scanning" as well as how to build an easy and affordable DIY camera scanning stand.

Group Critique
Join us for a group critique moderated by Parker Stewart. Bring your work and join a supportive community conversation to help strengthen your practice. We welcome all photographers of any experience level working in any photographic mediums and genres.

Class: Intro to Darkroom with Steve Bliss
In this 2-day class Steve will demonstrate and discuss traditional black and white printmaking. He will address utilizing diverse film formats, creating both contact sheets and enlargements, evaluating and controlling contrast, making informed paper choices, tray paper processing and archival washing. It’s the whole enchilada! Students will then be able to produce their own print on day 2 in the darkroom with Steve's guidance.
