In this 2-day class Steve will demonstrate and discuss traditional black and white printmaking. He will address utilizing diverse film formats, creating both contact sheets and enlargements, evaluating and controlling contrast, making informed paper choices, tray paper processing and archival washing. It’s the whole enchilada! Students will then be able to produce their own print on day 2 in the darkroom with Steve's guidance.
